Katy and Cory enjoy the sunset from the deck of the Mystic Blue. My company has taken up cruising as our summer event. We sailed on the Mystic Blue from Navy Pier north past Montrose Harbor and then back as the Chicago skyline lit up.

Had a busy weekend. My parents picked me up from camp and drove me back to Chicago. We met up with Jace and his brother Brett and sister-in-law Diana. The six of us spent the evening strolling Navy Pier. We ate hotdogs and rode the Ferris wheel...what else would six adults do in Chicago on a Saturday night?

Time for a vacation from LizLog and from Apartments.com. I'm heading off to camp for a blissful week of no technology. I'll be a volunteer staff member at Rainbow Christian Camp in Converse, Indiana. This week of camp for high schoolers is called Higher Ground.

So today I'm sitting downtown at 5:00 PM waiting for the 37 Sedgwick bus, watching the endless stream of 135 and 136s. Then this bus pulls up and the driver opens the door, eases her large frame off the springloaded seat and walks off. At first I think that maybe she is just going to look at the sign on the front of the bus or something but she keeps walking... walking straight into the McDonalds. I kid you not.
