6.30.04Went for a pre-dinner walk with my boy in Lincoln Park. This was a fun picture to conceive. I am pleased with the results, but I think Heather is right, it would look better with pink flowers ;) |
6.26.04Ok, I have a slight fascination with architecture. This is the Leo Burnett building with the Marina City towers in reflection. |
6.26.04Jace and I were downtown on Saturday evening for a wedding.
We enjoyed lovely weather on a terrace overlooking the river and had a great time dancing all night.

6.24.04Located in a corner of my office building, this is about the only KrispyKreme in Chicago city limits. This KrispyKreme means a lot to me, it's more than just melty donuts and the glaze curtain...ahhh glaze. |
6.22.04Lunch time visit to the farmers' market in the loop. I like the smiles on the faces of the folks behind their tables. I like going back to the office with a heavy bag of fresh vegetables that cost me $3.50. |
6.19.04Rock star or rock climber? Maybe it's the devilishly handsome hat...or the Cars.com purple shoes. See pictures here |
6.14.04I have been to a few industry events...usually my industry. But tonight I went out with Angela to NeoCon, "solutions for the design and management of the built environment." Angela is an interior designer for an architecture firm. I interviewed her on Apartments.com |
6.8.04Cubs game in the friendly confines. Jace, Cory, Katy and I watched the Cubs win over the Cardinals. It's hard not to have fun at Wrigley Field. |
6.3.04What might have been...two days before Vicky's wedding, we tried to make chocolate hearts. We tempered the chocolate but it remained too tempermental. We went to Dominics at 10 pm and bought Hersey's Kisses for the wedding favors. |
